Why screen for colorectal cancer?

Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death. However, if caught early, it has a 90% surival rate. Early detection and regular screening colonoscopies are key. The American Cancer Society recommends an average-risk person begin screening for colorectal cancer at the age of 45.
